Bought the car at 33,000
Put in the cam and stuff at 72,000
It now has 122,000 on it.
50K on an after market cam is that record?
I have replaced a lot of stuff, but most of it due to the mods.
But my drivers mirror took a ****. It just points upward now.
On my 3rd alternator, and probably 5th battery.
2nd AC compressor.
Paint is getting a bit dull due to the arizona sun. I can wax it back to shiny for a few months.
Transmission exploded, but I think it had a very slow leak I didn't catch, either way, I will go 50/50 with GM on the blame.
3rd clutch, 1 stock = crap, 2 centerforce DF = exploded, 3 custom centerforce = good. Not the factories fault.
Hatch shocks had to be replaced.
I would say 122K on a motor that has been driven hard, cammed and sprayed is pretty damn good.

I have 180,000 and it was originally white and a 5 speed with 3.23's open , now its black and a auto with 3.73's LSD , built engine, trans reworked, whole suspension redone, apperance mods, whole interior w/seats redone, also sound system and about to add a turbo kit also too many mods to list. I have replaced everything that can be replaced has been replaced since I'm the original owner and bought it with 18 miles on it in Dec. 1995. I have ran a Cam since 122K with a Powerdyne supercharger for about 4-5 years, 8-10 PSI, got rid of the Powerdyne and then sprayed for 2 -3 years 125-150 wet & dry shots, now will try a turbo once I get it on, 3" oval pipping under my tub. K member. I still have GM Goodwrench lifetime warranties on the water pump-6 times replaced, altenators-4, A/C compressor-4, and starter-3 times, I hope to own it long enough so that the lifetime warranties with labor ='s to what I paid for the car. LOL Up until about 2 years ago I used 10W30 motor oil , just reg. Mobile clean 5000 oil, then used Royal Purple 10W30 and last year put in 20W50 because I thought I was going to get my turbo on, hopefully this year it will go on for some test runs.

Yes it is the original motor, 5 speed transmission and rear end. Everything else is stock besides the aluminum driveshaft mod.
