I got a strange letter in the mail today from my local Pontiac dealership saying the following:
"We need to acquire pre-owned Pontiac Firebirds by June 28th, 2004, in order to fulfill special manufacturer requests. You have been identified as an owner of one of these vehicles and our new car managers have been authorized to buy back your vehicle."
Then it goes on to say stuff about the good deals they're offering on 2004 cars and such and that this offer is NOT offered to the general public only people with specific cars such as mine. It seems pretty legit to me, I wonder how much they'd give me for mine since they seem to want it so badly now... Before when I went to trade it in they said they would only give me like $13k when my car was only a year old and had 8,000 miles on it! I'll call tomorrow and see whats up with this thing, but did any of you get a similar letter from your local dealer?
