Got a question about Ebay...

Does this sound like [img]graemlins/bs.gif[/img] ? I was purchasing a 94 Camaro Z28 via Ebay however I was the SECOND Highest Bidder and the 1st never purchased the car... So we go to make a transaction, However I go back to the ebay site to look at it's details and it appears on September 03 that the highest bidder commented positive feedback and said the car was exactly as said... wtf?? Here look at the item number... 4570938854

These were our emails... Why would Ebay need to email me?... Wouldn't there be a secure site I would go to for that occasion or is she telling the truth?

ummm its my understanding that any deal outside of an auction win ebay doesn't deal with. "ebay will bring you the car" riiiight. I would walk away man.

I only bidded up to $1,700, The one who bidded $4,300 actually has the car and I even contacted the seller to verify and it's true. The Seller didn't make any second chance offers and sold the car on spot, meaning someone was watching the auction and attempted to sell me absolutely nothing so Yeah it was a scam... I'm new to Ebay mostly especially as far as buying expensive items such as cars but he made it alittle to obvious...

He still thinks I'm going to purchase the car however... Trying to think of a little fun payback for nearly wasting me of $1,700 ... :D I already reported him to Ebay...
