i have opera and it is right-side up. i guess it's only IE that shows it upside down. I hate IE. i also hate microsoft and i want to get rid of windows but i know it too well to want to switch to apple/linux/whatever.

It shows upside-down in IE for me, but won't show up at all in Firefox...

I had firefox on my PC for about 1 week. Still sticking with IE and Intel. I owned one AMD chip in my life...never again.

Been using Firefox for almost a year (I downloaded the last build of Firebird before they changed to Firefox). I've personally owned 1 IBM (166 that I overclocked instantly to a 200 and lasted me for 3 years before I upgraded). I've used AMD's since Christmas of 99. I can't personally tell the difference (not really looking either). I just hate Intel and $$ is a huge factor.

my high school has a ROP program called Computer / Business Technologies, where basically you get training at intel for all year long. It sounded like a dream come true to a nerd like me. Then, abrubtly, after like 15 years of doing the program with my School, they stopped. In mid-august none the less, so I had already signed 2 periods of my junior year away to nothing. I am so pissed off. Now I'm training at the local computer rebuilding place. That'll look awesome on my transscript.

</font>
Just sign up for the CCNA class. I did when I was in High School, and loved the class, except for the teacher. Hated her.

That is a humorous site. I use ie, firefox, and opera. It mostly depends on the mood that I'm in, and how many times ie randomly crashed on me that particular day. Yeah, Wintel blows. AMD all the way

Granted when I had my AMD chip, it was the old Athlon Slot A 700MHz screamer.

Reliability sucked
App performance sucked
Gaming performance sucked

The motherboard fried, I sold the chip on ebay and I bought a dual P3 733MHz at the time, loved it. Obviously it was faster, but my old P2 450Mhz before I bought the athlon was more reliable than that machine.

Maybe AMD has changed, but I'm extremely happy with my P4 2.4Ghz w/HT. I built this machine June 2003 and its been perfect ever since. I will not be going back to AMD, I see no reason to. It's like these people that ***** about windows...well stop using it, and use Linsucks all day...I don't care. Microsoft and Intel must be doing something good if they're the biggest. But to each his own, its my personal experience and opinion that Intel makes a better product than AMD.

In my opinion, I think it's mostly marketing. People at home see ad's on TV for Intel and recognize the name when shopping for a computer. They go in a store, see two computers. They could be identical other than processors and most would go for the Intel because they recognize the name from ad's. Kinda like why Mustangs are still around and F-bodies aren't.

Of course, this is all speculation by me and I am by no means an expert in marketing or anything else involved in this, these are just observations I've made.

And marketing alone? I'm sure it helped, not everything though.
