• Maybe I'm just getting lazy with the car???

    I dunno.

Maybe I'm just getting older and finding myself wanting to invest money in other avenues of my life, ex house, normal car, finer things in life.

I find myself with a list of "to do" things.

Sure I want to do them........ but it just isn't such a big priority anymore.

Am I starting to lose it or is this normal as we get older?

You are supposed to put more money into the car, the older you get.

i can think of plenty of people who have selected other interests for their focus. i say go for it! i was always surprised where networking and skills learned in other disciplines helped me out with my car

I feel the same way. I don't think I'm going to modify the car anymore...there are other priorities in life. I've sunk enough money into it. Plus, it's getting harder for me to do some of the stuff I use to do because my back is messed up. So now I take things in stride and clean it once in a while and take it to shows. Speaking of which, have you gone to Whiskey Cafe yet?

I got that way along time ago... not so much because I'm loosing interest in the car, more because I just don't have the money to spend on it anymore. Rather buy things like food.. and condoms lol.

If you go to a college there is a way to get free condoms somehow...

like a health or STD center... they had a jar you could donate and take s few condomes... I would put in like $0.75 and take like 20-30 of them... My school had Trojans, and durex... ribbed, colored, ulta-sensitive, lube, no lube... all fun stuff.

No, you're not losing it. Eventually we all have to grow up. I've been feeling the "maturity" urge pulling at me too. Unfortunately it took almost 30 years to hit. ;)

But, look on the bright side. In 10 or 15 years you can claim mid-life crisis and get yourself a shiny new sports car. I'm looking forward to it.

no.. you're like most people with insatiable needs and wants... you feel the need to explore different avenues for the car doesn't excite you like it used to.. happens to everyone.. no wonder you haven't had new times in eons!
