closing on our house is coming up and now Im cruising Home Depot like I used to pour through the Summit catalog and online aftermarket vendors. Ive been deleting things from the car mod to-do list and adding things to the house mod to-do list. I found a killer stainless steel stove last night and a great deal on a stainless fridge. Im also debating hot tub vs. turbo charger for next summers project.

Get the hottub - just think how much more relaxed both you and your wife will be having it [img]smile.gif[/img] Plus it leads to fun stuff ;) If Nathan asked me turbo or hot tub (well, he wouldn't, but... [img]tongue.gif[/img] ), I'd have a hard time choosing!

Hmmm,

I'm 24 and I finally have a car that's worth modding, but it's not at the top of my priorities at this point in time. Of course, funding is a primary issue and I have important things to purchase and a saving account to secure for emergencies. It all comes down to priorities and available time. Just because you don't feel like modding doesn't make you a bad person... at least not that bad of a person... LOL

My friend, you can CLAIM that... then your 9-year old, your 12-year old, and your 14-year old will start nagging about who's hogging the XBox version 4384 and how Johnnie needs one for himself because Susie's mom bought her one even though she used to share one with her sister Jenny but she spilled Coke all over it and now it only works on some games and none of those are any good so they had to go and buy more and now she has more than us. The Nathan will complain that Bobby's new bike is shinier than his and its not fair, how come all I got for Christmas was a lousy doll set when Rachel got a complete train set, daddy you just don't love me as much as you do her.

Add to that a $60,000 deck/patio/kitchen upgrade, $600 a month in college fund investments that pull right out of your paycheck so you don't even have the chance to put one payment aside for you, life insurance premiums so high you'll wonder why your family keeps you alive since you're worth more dead...

EDIT: I have a 53-year-old coworker named Rick who has six kids all between 11 and 17. I once asked him why he doesn't have a Corvette. His response was perfect:
