    My Spanish teacher the mail order bride pt. 2

    soo... my Spanish teacher made a joke today that further proves she was a mail order bride.

    So far, the facts are:
    she's 25
    German
    Came to the US at age 18
    Strangely married at age 18.

    And today, while we were talking about "family" and going over the verbs, she asks the class what comes before marriage (all of this in spanish by the way) and we reply "dating" (in spanish) and she jokes and goes "well you hope so at least, unless you're getting married for the green card"

    !! Mail order bride, I knew it!!

        for some people to come over they have to get there green card if u marry someone its easier to get it in like 3 years i think so she might be married to someone but not really in love if u know what i mean just to get there green card ive heard of many people doing it

          Some old-timers here in town marry the 18 year old Phillipino girls to get them into our country.

          My wife just cringes when she sees a young girl with some dude 70 years old.

                        How do I get a pic of my spanish teacher? Just bust a camera out in the middle of class? lol

                        I would honestly try, but I just messed up my mem card for my camera :( If anyone can tell me a program that will format CF cards please let me know :D
