• My insurance went down! Whooo!

It was 1306 for 6 months and now its 862 for 6 months. All cause I turned 25! I turned 25 in May but my policy was for March to Oct so I had to wait a lil but who cares, I am happy. This is full coverage here in NJ.

NJ sucks when it comes to insurance. Mine is $480 every 3 months and thats just liability. I am going to be 19 next month, but even still, I pay alot even if I am at a young age. And I can't even afford full coverage. Full coverage was a little higher than $6,000 a year.

Yeah it sucks here in NJ.

hey 95FirebirdConvertable- I see a lot of kids where their parents have money and they buy them Cobras and GTs and I want to know how much their insurance is. Apparantly my coworker has a friend whose grandmom died leaving him a lot of money and that kid went and bought a Dodge Ram SRT10... His insurance is 6 grand a year. Its a shame because your car isnt even brand new and would cost the same. Crazy!

my camaro is fully covered, and my beater is only limited. and i pay 894 for 6 months for both. but the camaro is the weekend car that is why it went down.

i just put the beater on. when the camaro was the daily driver i was paying 1020 for 6 months. so by have 2 cars my insurance went down.

now when i frist got my camaro when i was 19 i was paying 1620 for 6 months.

insurance is the only reason why i don't mind getting older. so next year i will be getting married which will make it go down again. then in another year and a half i will be 25!

1752 a year full coverage (includes full road side assistance and breakdown, rental, tows, etc.)

I'm 27 - mind you its a convertible and I added my rims and molded stereo equipment - and I'm in Germany (through a insurance company for Americans here - they goes off the euro to dollar rate and converts it)

hmmm.... you guys dont want to know what I pay.... although Im getting old and decrepid, just like my car.

                  26yo married 2 cars 97firebird + 01 Monte Carlo SS + full coverage on both = $1332/ YEAR.

my car breaks down to about $48/month or $288/6months.

It's more your location than your age. I'm just over 30 and my wife and I pay about $1300/6 mos for full coverage on my camaro and her ford escort.

The weird thing is that once you guys get older it's pretty much the same money to insure dang near anything. We're about to replace her escort with a new TSX and it'll only add about $20 per month to our insurance.
