It's time to renew my health coverage, and I get this letter in the mail today.
Ok, FIRST let me say that the whole idea of this insurance really doesn't piss me off.
What DOES piss me off:
Eligibility
1) A regular full time employee, and
2)A resident of the state of California and
3) Registered in a domestic partnership with the state of California
My Employeer has offices in every state and foreign countries, but only offers this in California. "...contributions will be made with post-tax dollars. There may be potential IRS imputed income implications. At this time we are not sure, due to the newness of this law..."
This is why I hate California. Instead of lobying to the Supreme Court, all nut jobs move to California and lobby to have the state pass their adgendas into law.
1) Dick that wanted to remove "God" from the Pledge - California (He tried once in Mass. but was thrown on his a$$ because his daughter wasn't even old enough to attend school yet.)
2) Govenor that was usurped AFTER these dumbasses re-elected him for a second term - California
3) Give illegal immegrants drivers licenses - California
4) Domestic life insurance - California
Dammit, if it wasn't for the hot chicks I'd say sink this damned state or build massive walls along the outer borders and sell the state to Mexico!
