Best Buy just owned me. 2 years ago I owed them 100 bucks. They just caught up with me and made me pay 385. No gear swap now. :(
I really owed them 485 but the creditor decided to "cut me a deal". I still had to pay 300 in interest and finance charges. Life sucks this month!

ya really i would of been like "sorry you have the wrong number" ::click:: I'm a frim believer if people don't realize they gave you to much money or don't remember that you need to pay them back after a certain amount of time, you shouldn't have to get screwed in the long run.

Depends on the state. In PA they can't garnish your wages, but they can put liens on your property if you own anything. And the ever popular screwing of your credit. But then there is the statute of limitations.
Last year Citibank sent me a bill for $2875. 14 years after I defaulted. I sent it back and told them they were 8yrs too late.
Man, I feel so much better. I don't see how clarkhoward can help. They haven't gotten my money yet, they're gonna draft my account on the 30th.
I don't think there is anything I can do cause they are operating within the statute of limitations. I don't want this crap to screw up my credit score so, oh well.

Its fun when you get to much money on your pay check and your company wants it back b/c THEY screwed up. A pay check isn't a bill.....

That's a great phylosophy as long as you never plan to buy a house.
for the topic poster, you could have probably paid them a little, less, but in a few years you'll be glad you got them off your back.

I workout 5 days a week
I've been saving money for a year to get out from under a car I'm upside down on.(almost there)
I still somehow make time for my g/f.
I'm not asking for pity or trying to impress you. I was just venting. I'm 6'6" and 225 lbs. I'll pm you my address if you wanna come show me how it's done. Go **** yourself!

Yeah, I just don't take it well when someone calls me lazy who prolly isn't doing half of what I am and prolly couldn't keep pace with me anyway.
I do have anger problems at times, that why I chose to be a bouncer as my second job.

Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
