Living in an affluent area of CT, I was in line at Cust Service to return those 24" TripleEdge wipers that didnt fit and there was this short fat lady who was in panic mode that her 3 rugrat kids was somewheres lost in the store and shrieked to the poor Walmart employee to page the kids through the intercom, twice. As I watched her panic, the people behind me rolled their eyes and made comments to me that she shouldve stuck the kids in a shopping cart rather than letting them run around loose in the store. It bothers me like hell that this carelessness continues today. Abductions and Amber alerts seem on the increase these days but it mainly falls on the parents responsibility & thats the bottom line. Good thing I dont have any kids either. I dislike going to Walmart because I stand at the checkout line and you notice certain swarms of low class people who flock to save a buck and waste time with 19 items in a 12 item checkout. Also, Im amazed theres a kind of people that come out of the woodwork that shop there. Just ranting because it was disgustingly hot & humid out recently and all the car magazines were mangled lol. Hello AutoZone, friendly and focused attention to the customer, here I come!

Late night at the 24-hour Walmart is always a treat - you see so many interesting things and people.
Regarding 96RS Alex's commetns re: checkout lines:
Some of the Walmarts here have self-check out. But unlike the self check-out at Home Depot or other stores, the Walmart self-checkout lines always seem to be having one problem or another (problems arising from both the customers operating the machines and the machines as well).I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

I feel your pain but we must be kind and patient because from I got from your attitude and what you said, they are going through life a little harder then most of us and they do have those kids to deal with. We all remember what it was like and how we acted. Hell, some of us still act like children.
in these parts, customer service isnt 24hrs so there is no late nights to get around the people.

The walmart by me is worse at night than during the day... Early morning is best but I tend to stay away at all costs.\'99 SSM Camaro V6 M5
(mod list on cardomain site; too long to list here)
http://www.cardomain.com/id/v6cam99

I agree w/hockyman as to not have kids. This world is definately getting worse. Too many people don't seem to care enough about thier kids to raise them themselves. Even at my age, 35, I still don't want the responsibility of raising kids in this world. Besides, I would have to be earning a pretty penny in order for my hunny to be a stay at home mom; cuz day care is not an option(because someone else is raising your kids). The other thing that drives me crazy is these people that leave thier kids in the car when its 90* outside, while they go la-de-da shopping! Those f*****'g IDIOTS! I don't know if this news went national, but here in West Allis, Wisconsin, last week Fri. was hot (85*), A driver for a day care center had completely forgot all about a 2-yr-old girl that he picked up that morning. That evening, her mom went to pick her up from daycare. They said she never came in. They found her body in the back of the van, right where the driver left her.

walmart sucks... I only go there to buy cheap oil. Go to Target, that is where all the hot chicks hang out.Keith - 99 'maro - White M5 - bumpstick and boltons - 13.65 @ 101 N/A
