• So, got me a tatoo.....

Yup, on my 28 b day.

I've been looking for a LONG time....

Been to several places but never found something that... well... was me.

I really liked the idea of something on the arm... but I always thought you have to have nice arms (muscular) for it to look right. I liked the "tribal style," but didn't want something similar.

Then... too many people have them there... and I dont want to look like I wanna be one of the "cool" people who has it there.

Also, during casual dress days at work I wear those polo shirts and I don't want it being visible in my work environment.

So, I went into a local place (I had my tongue pierced there ages ago).. found something that interested me but I wanted more.

The tatoo artist expanded on it.

It is a bit big for the first tatoo..... shoulder to shoulder

It is what I wanted.

It is of the "tribal style" I have to go back in 1 month for a "touch up." Since it was on my b day I had been drinking a lot... well when you do that your blood is "thinned out" and when you get a tatoo with "thinned blood" you tent to bleed ALOT!

I was a bleeder

3.5 hours later I was done

I'll have pic's sooner or later.

I think it was time for me to do it.... I've lost a HUGE amount of weight and wanted to do it.

I'm getting a tattoo of a freckle on my elbow.

Clearly you're more of a man.

Congrats on the pic... let us know how it turns out.

The shoulder area was doable.
The spinal area..... WOW... at times it was... an eye opener!

First Tattoo I got was about 9 years ago.
It is a Guitar on the top of my right arm.

Second Tattoo is of a Killer Whale and is on my back.

In both cases, I have taken a picture to the Tattooist rather than pic something from his 'library'

I'm currently thinking about getting another one done, on my lower back.

I'm going for the Screaming Chicken Firebird logo (Flame design)

I didn't even think shops were supposed to give you them when you'd been drinking ;)

Some places will still do them, but you have to sign a waiver saying that you know what you're doing so you can't try to sue them and say you were drunk.

Well, I was not drunk at the time, I was completely sober.

I had been drinking extensively the night before though :D
