Ouch! Wow that is really irresponsible of the Post office counter worker. I'm sorry to hear that...You were probably one of the 1 out of 1000 that this stuff happens to. It is inevitable that things like this happen, human error.

As far as I'm aware of, the USPS just has delivery confirmation and the only real tracking numbers they give is with their overnight letters which FedEx basically does for them now. The post office maybe cheaper than UPS or FedEx but those tracking numbers really come in handy.

i don't see why you didn't check the label or even open up the package when you were there. i'm sure you had to notice the box was very light compared to what it should have weighed. i think its both the post office and your fault. all you can really do now is hang out at the post office and see if someone returns your package. i doubt the person who picked up yours has an f-body. good luck, those headers you got are expensive.

I thought the box I got was the install kit, and the other would be in later......

Someone who bought starwars toys is also complaining - stick notes all over the post office windows. ;)

Seriously though - someone who ordered toys now has headers... or something else... which means that post office f'd up something royally.

Trust me. If you bought some series of collectables and ended up with some exhaust part ... wouldn't you be a bit upset?

You should call the company and see if they have a tracking # for that.

I notified CIA, (clear image, not central intelligence, although that is a good idea)and they are sending me a tracking # today. It should be in my e-mail when I get off work.

Always use insurance with USPS. We've lost a $700 set of pistons shipping with them.
