I drove a mustang today,it was the 94 5.0,the first mustang I took on my life, i know this 5.0 is kinda slow but Iam also a mustang fan for nearly 5 years, but man after that I felt so dissapoited, that car felt so slow and HEAVY as hell,I couldn't believe it. those gt's are dogs, even in my little 6 I have a chance to beat it's crap. anyone explain me why those cars are so slow, a mazda 6 could beat the hell out of that, is that right???? how that car with that 5.0 with th size of an airplane can be so slow....btw it was an auto....

Had to be a '95 GT 5.0. Not the greatest V8s ever built, like the 3rd gen F-body years, but add in Ford's horrible automatic transmission and you got a 15.0 car. Couldnt have been of Cobra since they're only 5speeds, so the GT was like 215hp with 280tq I think.

After having the z28 for awhile, it seems slow but when I look down Im doing like 80mph in no time. My friend's 3000GT feels faster cause its a stick and that would run like a 16.0 at best.

was it an auto? the autos are dogs, but the 5 speeds move. Either way, a few cheap bolt ons and it will move...the beauty of a 5.0

Hey those mazda 6's are not that slow. I used to carpull with a guy that owned one. We had to drive between office to office so I got to drive his car many times. They are faster then my car thats for sure. They feel like a stock 2004 GT. The stick and clutch feel great! One of the best I have felt. The clutch is not to stiff and not to soft and the stick goes into gear with a solid feel. I thought about buying one for a few days.
