What do you expect? Most of the people on the board are in their teens or barly out of them.

It's very har for me to understand the "ruining a life" post. I have a 2.5 year old son; I was not really ready for him, abortion NEVER came into my mind. I can not imagine a life with out him right now. The joy and happiness (of having him around and watching him grow) far out weights any material things I could have gotten. Yes my thoughts and problems were slightly skewed because I had been married for 5 years before my wife got pregnant.

Hell parents manage to ruin the life of a child they want.

My point was just because you are not ready for a child does not mean go get an abortion. Sometimes, wonderful things happen by accedent...

My girlfriend was adopted right after she was born. She certainly has her issues reguarding it, which is to be expected, but she's willing to admit without hesitation that things turned out better for her with her adopted family than they would have with her biological family. Her real mom was real young (16, if I remember correctly) and the father was just a little bit older. Even though her parents couldn't provide the best environment for her, they still gave her the chance to have a good life with another family. From what I've read so far, most people seem to think that it's either keep the child or get an abortion, but I think people should at least consider adoption. I'm glad my girlfriend's parents did. I would never have met my best friend if they chose otherwise...
