It really depends on the girl in this situation. I know without a doubt that if my girlfriend were to get pregnant, she would be getting an abortion. Neither of us would think twice about it, and neither of us would dwell on it. If both of the parents have great aspirations in life, then now is not the time to have a kid. A child deserves a mother and father who have nothing but love in their heart for their child, not parents who have an even an ounce of regret or feelings of what could have been if not for their kid.

Thought my girl was pregnant about a month ago, keep in mind I'm 19, so I nearly shat myself. Keep the kid, work your *** off, it'll be worth it. I was gonna hop into the Police Academy, and would have landed a job by the time the kid was born. You gotta do what you gotta do, just have no regrets. There are options out there, look into the police academy. It's a stable job and you can take classes in your spare time or online and work toward a better career. Also looks good on any resume and application. Good luck man, and if she's not pregnant, GET HER ON BC!

if its not more than 72 hours she needs to GET THE MORNING AFTER PILL ASAP.

If its more than that - talk to her about the options... you know what they are.
a.) abortion
b.) adoption
c.) 18-22 years of raising a child and being a father forever.

You need to think if you can be a family with this girl... meanign you have to marry her.

Ultimately, however, it is her decision and you have to support her in that decision.


On abortion - most people on this board dont agree with it... they may even tell you not to do it. However, its legal and it IS an option. If your girlfriend does not have a moral objection she can have one and you cant do **** about it... similarly you cant force her to have one. If you consider an abortion - remember whatever people on this board or in your life tell you about what God thinks about it - if youre (and your girl are) comfortable about it and you can justify it within the confines of your (and your girlfriend's) religious faith then it is worth consideration.

I think you need to ask her what she wants to do first because if she says she's getting an abortion, it's sort of a moot point to worry about what you're going to have to do besides support her in this whole thing.\\

Talk to her, be understanding, tell her how you feel, and remember - she didn't get herself pregnant, nor did she ask to be in this situation either... if she chooses to get an abortion, be a man and go with her - it's a hard thing to do, even if you know it's the best thing.

If she wants to have the baby, find out what part she wants you to play.

I have a very hard time imagining going through nine months of pregnancy, giving birth, and then letting the baby go, so I can only assume this is the least popular approach
