THANK YOU. I think half the people who dislike the new mustang just feel that way b/c its a ford. I dont care if GM's motors were making this type of power a few years ago. The point is, if your looking for a new car, you can not get an fbody.
As far as styling goes, I REALLY like the front end, but the back just doesn't do it for me. Before I read that all I had seen were front views, now that I've seen a profile I don't like the look so much. Maybe I'll get used to it (shrug)
I would like to see weight specs and 1/4 mile times to make a good judgement on performance. If the GT's only trap in the 100 range then Ford really hasn't done their job in the power category. Judging by that article it handles very nicely though.
To answer all those who say "f-bodies don't make that kind of power in 2005:" YES THEY DO. My car still makes 200 hp and 225 lbs ft (and soon it will make substantially more..) [img]graemlins/stickpoke.gif[/img] ;) Just because there are no new f-bodies does not mean the pony car wars are over or that Ford has won.
