Dick Cheney just said there was no connection between
Ouch, Cheney voted against the creation of the Dept of Education, a resolution calling for the release of Nelson Mandela, MLK Jr Holiday, Meals on Wheels, Head Start.... and he was in a very stark minority of nay votes on all of these - I didnt even know that!!

My honest critique of Edwards right now is that he is being too smug...
He's also allowing Cheney to rattle him a bit... He needs to stand strong. However as this debate moves to domestic issues he should get MUCH stronger.
Edwards does NOT have the foreign policy exp of Cheney - but Cheney doesnt ahve a leg to stand on with the domestic issues.

im just hoping that his preparedness stands strong through the whole thing. if he does good, this could make up for the lack of a president at the first debate
