i think if I were planning on voting for Bush or were undecided, had I seen the last two debates where the Pres and VP actually try to say that Iraq is going great and the world is mostly peachy because of what they did, I would seriously decide to vote for Kerry - at least he lives somewhere in reality.

It's like if they repeat it enough (like they did to go to war in the first place), people will believe them, but people are experiencing the effects of the war now and they need to admit that they might have been wrong in some ways!! The fact that Cheney said he never connected Al Queda and Saddam/Iraq made my jaw hit the floor... who is he trying to kid?

Its one thing to change your mind....thats not flip-floping...flop-floping is the constant changing of your mind depending on who you are speaking to or what the polls say.

The only problem with the Iraq situation is that we only see the people being killed on the news...we don't see the jobs being created, the schools being built and all the good that is happening in that country. I have talked to several national guard members that are close to me and they say that almost everyone over there is happy we are there but the media doesn't want to cover the good that is happening cause that doesn't get ratings like bombs and beheadings.

that's because anything positive about Iraq doesn't make the media. It hurts the demoncratic propaganda machine. Also, anything that's good for the country is bad for democrats, as it gives them fewer things to bytch about.

If I believe a candidate is unethical, which is a wholly subjective view on things, am I not to go with that because it's more of a personal belief, and even moreso because I don't like him??? Sorry but I'm going with who I'd trust with my life, because my life DOES depend on who's in office. Even if I'm put in danger, I want to know it's for the right reason if I do have to lay down my life.

To start with that Edward's attendence record was so bad that they'd never met. In fact theyd met twice that are documented by CSpan - if not more times.

He said he was usually on the floor on Tuesdays during session - its not true, he comes to the Hill for GOP only meetings and lunch.
