First one I saw at a dealership! Bright red, ground effects, wing, etc. Pioneer subwoofer in the trunk, boost gauge on the pillar, real nice black and red interior, sharp gauges. 2.0L Supercharged (which I don't understand...wasn't it suppose to be a 2.2L ecotec?) 205hp. All of them are 5 speeds. I was told only one per dealership around here. Sticker: $23,000.
Now for the magic question: How much "boost" is that blower making to push a 2.0L into the mid to low 14's? [img]graemlins/popcorn.gif[/img]
12 psi, im lookin at them. I may get one by the end of may. I saw the cobalt SS at the Dallas auto show, and the pictures dont do that car justice. It looks really good for a sport compact. It puts almost 205 to the wheels, for a 1/4 mile of 14.7@97mph!! of coarse i would have to trade in my camaro...but i need something more practical for college, and my camaro has nothing practical... even though i love it stil [img]smile.gif[/img]
ive heard just opening up intake/exhaust gets nearly 20-30hp at the wheels, then a pulley swap, injectors and a pcm tune will get you into 13's easy. So they obviously react really well to mods, yet another reason i may be getting one,

When you drop the most amazing cars (LS1 F-bodies) and bring in bloated, overpriced GTOs, add more crappy cars to your lists, and have one of the the worst advertising campaigns, you're bound to lose big money. C6 is the only thing to save them.
c6 isnt a moneymaker, neither is the gto, those are for gm's image more than anything. The real moneymaker for GM is trucks, and truck sales, suprisingly, have been low lately...at least for gm
