  • GM Stocks plummetting

I just heard this from McLerrer report that GM's stock is down by 38% for the past 3 month. It's giving competitors like Toyota and Ford to gain momentum. If this keeps up, GM would not be on top anymore. It could be Ford or Toyota.

GM analyst say that they will improve the way they advertise to the public and still provide vehicles for the masses. Right now their trucks and SUV are their biggest seller and we might see even more lines of trucks and SUV. Like we really need more of those.

Oh gosh 95fbirdkid, have you even seen your stock? The reason I posted in regards to Ford, GM and Chrysler a Threat To National Security is because I was going to buy GM stock, and came across that. Then I went to see Ford's stock (NYSE: F), and guess what I found.....

          $9.86 per share!!

          GM went from $60-$25
          Ford went from $35-$9

          GM from 1998-2005)

          Ford (1998-2005)

I think you should be worried yourself as well.....

And of course their stocks have been plummeting. Health care costs are KILLING their companies. And the war isn't helping either.

If I had cash, I'd invest in Ford. They apparently know how to make a product that people (in their misguided ways) would like to own. ;)

Hopefully this will be a sign to GM that they need to change their ways and produce vehicles that the market wants... not what THEY want. Gas prices are going up... SUV and truck sales are going down and that's the last market they have before losing ALL their sales. If they only make those types of vehicles, they're screwed. Can anyone say "More Cobalt-type vehicles are on their way" if GM wants to survive?

lets wait till the end of this year and GM's new line fully debut. Ill bet with the cobalts, solstice, new blazer, and new caddies etc. that their sales might gain a few notches.

If their still diving after that then ill be stumped. How long till we see a new company (reminiscent of scion) from gm?

I read USA Today, they said today, that GM's stock is actually 1/2 what it is worth if the company stock was equal to it's assests. Now is the time to buy, $25 for 50 worth of company...

They have 20 billion set aside in a health care system, designed to be a safety net. While only 5.9billion will be used for 05 for employee health costs. So they have an extra 14 billion they can transffer for general buisness accounts. It also mentioned health care adds approximately $1000.00 to each vehicle sold.

I'm personally going to wait till stock hits $20 or starts to go up before I buy in.

Penny stocks are very nice too. I work in Oil & Gas industry so I know a little bit about these up and coming O&G companies. Looking to invest pretty heavy this year.
