Congrats on the new purchase. Not a fan of the import though. Doesn't help our economy any. And KBeezy, treat any car right (american/german/japanese) and it will last forever.

Right, because Honda putting manufacturing plants in the US, and cross platforming with american companies such as GM, does nothing at all for jobs or the economy

I will give Japanese car manufacturers some credit in that they are beginning to bring jobs over here which I completely support. But buying American is still far better for the economy.

no **** sherlock But theres something about Hondas that I've noticed, when they say change the transmission fluid every X miles on your car, do it.. when I worked GMs people would ignore some recommended work suggested by GM specifically for their vehicle and wouldn't notice any difference.. But on these Hondas, since Honda uses and says only use Honda fluids WITH NO ADDATIVES (they WILL destroy a honda tranny if you use tranny addatives) you had better listen to em when they say the fluid goes bad at X miles They designed their transmissions and differentials, and mixed the fluids specifically for those parts.

But as I've said before, I only turn a wrench for a living, specifically for Honda. What would I know? but I will admit, I wont ever drive a Honda for a few reasons ;)

Kbeezy, I wasn't tryin to insult your intelligence. What you wrote came off to me as another person saying that Honda's will last longer than any other car. And since I thought that is what you meant, i felt obliged to say what i said. I think your rebuttle to what I said made your point much clearer.
