well if one plan is for retreat and one is for continued occupation - those are pretty big differences, how can you then say "parts are the same"? theyre fundamentally different or theyre the same.

not being for Bush is not anti-american, although the administration would like you to believe that - if it were, half the country wouldn't be trying to replace him in the upcoming elections that happen every four years and this country would be a dictatorship instead of a democracy... He was at the Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre. I goto kings college which is about a 2 minute walk from the kirby, they had evey road imaginable closed from 8am-afternoon.

I don't know - maybe it's because I work from home and so don't have a chance to have the "around the water cooler" conversations with anyone (unless you count our cat), so whether I agree or disagree, I think it's great.

I agree with maxcamaro on this one. As for token, I agree that well informed and well intentioned threads are worthwhile, but I hardly doubt this one qualifies under that... besides, G just called maxcamaro an idiot because max disagreed with him. That's absurd. If you start a thread, you invite people to disagree with you and you should be ready to debate why you have that opinion WITHOUT resorting to personal attacks.
