• Great Dyno Numbers

My dad surprised me for my birthday (June 5th) and got my 2000 Camaro Dynoed! My mods are custom intake, smoothed & cut airbox, fram air hog, mobil 1 10W30, flowmaster catback exhaust, and some weight reduction. SAE corrected, 193.8 rwhp, and 221.3 rwtq! My car is a factory freak!

Very nice. What do those numbers equate to as flywheel hp and tq? Is your car 5-speed or auto? Ever ran at the track?

Thanks! :D
Flywheel numbers are 238 hp, and 270 tq.
It's a A4, and no I never ran it at the track.
I will definitely run it this fall/winter when it gets cooler outside.
Lately it has been over 90 degrees. :(

By the way, with my dyno numbers what 1/4 mile time should I expect?

With a good launch in good weather, I'd be looking to break into the 14s. ;)

Well a stock A4 would do what like 150-160 rwhp? He basically has just an intake and exhaust. I would say 194 rwhp is pretty impressive.

Thanks guys! :D
Above I said my Flywheel horsepower was 236.4 I made a typo it is 238.4, to make it more simple I rounded them off to 238 hp, and 270 tq. By the way what could I do to my car to make it have about 275 flywheel horsepower for under $1500? Thanks!

you multiply your dyno numbers by .15 for an automatic to get flywheel power. where as it would be .12 for a 5 spd.

thus your numbers are 222 Hp and 254 Tq.

still good but these are more realistic IMO

* there is NO way you picked up 40 HP and 50 lbs/Tq with a ghetto intake and flowmaster exhaust.
