God bless my doctor's office though... since my insurance doesn't cover it, my doctor had a way to get it to me for free. Only drawback is I have to inject it myself(or have someone inject it in me)

Get to do it saturday 24 hours after my last treatment of chemo this week.

If I understand right, basically boosts my white, red bloodcells and my platelets production so I can knock it right back down with more chemotherapy

Sounds right to me. Sucks thats the way it goes, but would you rather have a low count to begin with and then go in?

That's cheap - when my wife was getting the neulasta's they were billing the insurance $4,200 per shot :eek:

yeah, only part that sucks is that the bills won't be making it ot my insurance company... I am likely gonna need 3 of them. :(
