You're failing to realize that laws are made by people just like you and me. Regular people make laws against regular people who are trying to survive. It is neither good, nor bad, it's just how it is. Immigration laws are just that - they are neither morally wrong or right, they are to control flocks of immigrants. If someone happens to be illegal immigrant, it doesn't mean that he doens't want to become a legal immigrant. It's just that laws are designed so that not everyone can get that status... therefore they are forced to SURVIVE.

It's like me making a law saying you can only drive 5mph on interstate. And I will say it's morally wrong and try shame you endlessly for going 50mph... you think you'd give a sh*t? Of course not!

There are 2 kinds of laws: common sense morality (murder, theft, etc) and supplimentary laws, which are based on beliefs, rather than on morality.

Murder is illegal. However, if someone breaks into your house with a knife and attempts to attack you, would you not shoot him because it's illegal and morally wrong to kill?

See, issues are whole lot more complex than they appear at first and I really, REALLY don't like your type of people, because all they can say is: "OH he broke the law, he's a bad boy, he should be punished and I'm a good boy, because I obey the law". Wake up and realize that laws are created BY PEOPLE, not by some superiour mind who knows everything. People have different perspectives, therefore there is no fixed ABSOLUTE truth.

There are reasons people are turned away.....cause we want people who are willing to come and be constructive towards the US. There are undoubtly some who don't meet the criteria that would but the government doesn't have time to do an individual case basis. So therefore we are required to have criteria so that we can weed out not so great applicants.

Oh...laws are created by elected governing bodies that speak for a nation...so basically the majority of people think immigration laws are fine or they would be changed if prudent enough.

i don't think i've ever seen a poor illegal immigrant...i see them all the time in the supermarket i work at (I'm talking about mexicans and other hispanics). For some reason, they're always carrying wads of $100 bills around. and they always send like 4 payments through Western Union, $1500 apiece. why 4 payments? because you need ID if it's anything over $1500.

also, i don't understand when some people say that illegal immigrants take jobs from Americans. #1, they take jobs that Americans DON'T want. #2, they work for cheaper than the average American, so companies save money by hiring them.

What we should do is force companies to pay illegal immigrants the same wages as the average American. That way, there would be no incentive to hire an illegal over an American, and illegals wouldn't be able to take up as many jobs.

If you wanna be an American citizen, you should pay American taxes, plain and simple. Why should these people get tax breaks when the people who have worked and supported this country their whole lives still have to pay?
