I got my turbo kit all done on wednesday, and I have been having a lot of trouble tuning it. I had an intense stage 1 NA pcm, and it was totally incompatible with boost. tonite, I swapped in a stock pcm, and made a few minor tweaks:
Disabled EGR (I don't have one on board anymore)
programmed for larger injectors
increased the MAF tables by 10 percent.
THE CAR IS SO ****ING FAST NOW!!! OMFG!!
The road is perfectly dry here, and once the boost comes on, I can't keep the rear wheels behind me. I got really freaked out when I went sideways in 3rd gear. It was a wild ride.
I was gonna get my wet nitrous kit put in this week, but I will hold off for a while now. I will need time to get used to this configuration first.
I think I was at about 5 or 6 psi, but I don't know. My boost gauge vac line has a small leak.
