    What kills me is I easily spend more money racing my car then actually on my car. Fecking entrance fees :mad:

      How did you compute that $9.30/hour is $32K a year? More like 19K. Or did you mean $19.30/hour?

        Thats simple...

        EMTs make $9.30 an hour. They work 24 hours, 3 days a week..

          I lost track myself. I still have my receipts though. I would say around $8000, outside labor expense not included.

            i've spent enough on my car..kind of regret it. Now the stupid transmission is going ****ty on me... sigh.. its becoming a worthless investment in my eyes. well i guess because i dont have a job at the moment..

            oh well when i get older and have a career..then i'll start worry'n about going fast

              Yeah I don't know how you guys are including the cost of the car in your "mod expenses" LOL

              All I can say is after $13,329.14 a 3.4L will definately be faster than an LS1! If its not, somebody can't build a motor, or somebody can't drive ;)

                Not all of it is engine mods, etc.. a good part of it is appearance mods, cause until I get of college and get some money it's only a show car.
                I've got.. turbo, rebuld engine and tranny, cam, new furl injectors, adj fuel pressure regulator, MSD DIS-4, new coil packs.. Eibach springs, KYB AGX adj shocks, eibach sway bar kit, SLP weld on subframe connectors, 3- point strut tower bar.. other than that, it's all appearance.. I really don't know what else to add on there to make it fast, without going LS1. Any opinions on what else to add to make it faster?

                    hey girl get your hand dirty it's great! between my friends and i we did most of the work our selfs. i would say i spent in the upwards of 10k, so far. about 8 k in the past 3 months. if i had your car i wouldn't worry about getting a new car, do a engine swap and put a 3.8 a whole lot of mods and watch the times go down. check out my page, this season i'll be running 12's!

                      You spent 8k, but like 6k of that is filling up the nitrous tanks cause you never turn the bottle off [img]tongue.gif[/img]
                      And for the record, 3.8 swap is harder than LT1 swap [img]smile.gif[/img]

                        what are you talking about 8k? for me on my car? yeah right, do i need to post all records and prices, and like i said never go to langhorn speed shop they rip you off. that is why i'm at 10k when i should be at like 8500-9k. and that money doesn't include n/x fill ups, i've only filled up the bottle 4 times in over a year(which most of the time i was only getting the bottle topped off), i wish i got to use the n/x more, i might only get to use it once every 2 weeks if i'm lucky!
