Hit and Run accident, I could have been killed.

Well, as most of you know, I just started my new job at trugreen chewlawn about a month ago now. Moday I went out in my truck alone for the first time to do lawns. Tuesday I am driving, pull up to my stop and at the neighboors house 4 black guys a yelling and arguing with each other. I did the lawn and got back into my truck to do my paper work and the guys left. 2 left in a buick regal and 2 left in a mazda 626 like a bat out of h#ll. I didn't see them anymore so, I got out my truck and put the paperwork on the door, then left for my next stop right down the street. I was just making my left turn when I heard tires sqeal, the impact to my truck(one kinda loud the other very loud) and then they took off down the street. I got out to look at my truck(ford f-350) and saw the bed on the drivers side smashed in about 18''s(this made the loud noise) and the all steel post right behind the door smashed in about 3''s(this made the very loud noise). That part of the cab is solid steel, I would hate to see that buick. Anyway I call my boss and the police, they show up and I do my report. I didn't get a tag number because it happened so fast but, Like I said I was at there neighboors house doing the lawn so I gave the police the EXACT address they were at. That do I continued on with my work because I wasn't hurt and the truck was drivable. The police call me the other day and tell me the car that hit me that day was stolen at gun point earlier in that day and the suspects were armed and dangerous. I guess its better they didn't stop or I might not be here right now.

I got tired of the hours and not making any money. Instead of 9-9 monday-sat, I now work 6:30 to 2-3pm m-f and some sats but, I just make more money of sat.

This happened to one of my students in Newark. She was being followed and then one of them came up to her car when she stopped at a red light. He put a gun up to the window and said "get the f#ck outta the car!!! She said "F#ck YOU!! and took off through the light. They raced after her and chased her for a couple miles weaving through traffic and no one called the cops until they plowed her off the road and her car flipped and crashed. She was badly injured. They caught one of them that day. He ran on foot and actually turned his coat inside out and the cops were able to pick up on that. She had to testify in court against that one and he walked out of the court room and said "I'm gonna kill you". And on top of it all, the scumbags know her name because it was relased by the cops somehow... this was about 3 years ago, and it's still in the court system...

Glad to hear you didn't get hurt. But you may have to testify when they catch them. Be careful in that situation and make sure the stupid cops don't give them information about YOU.
