• Co worker just came into my office and hand me his keys.

Purchased in NM ... driven to Northern VA ... parked in the lot across from my office.

Pat just bought an 05 GT ... black ... 'vert... red leather interior.

I'd never actually been that close to the GT (I just refused to drive into a Ford dealership.

As I sat in the driverset and reached forward to slip the key into the ignition ... I felt a quick twing of regret ..

I didn't drive it .. just started it up and revved it low a few times.

Gotta give it to Ford, they do know how to make a factory car sound awesome.

Wuss you should have driven it...

I really wanna go take one for a drive, just haven't had the time to go waste and drive one. Also don't wanna waste my time if they won't let me take it out.

I drove one a couple years ago and was not impressed. The power wasn't mind-blowing and it felt like I was in a Taurus. They sound great, but Ford can keep their stangs.

I hope they've made some improvements, I might change my mind if I get into one of the new ones.

You drove a '05 a couple years ago?

I'd take one... 3v 4.6L is less like a tauras then the Grand prix motor in my car

Personally, I like the new GT's. I cannot wait to see the SVT Cobra Editions. They need to get rid of those uglya$$ rims though.

There will not be a SVT Cobra because Ford stopped the SVT cars. SVT is not more basically. That's why they have the GT500 with the Eaton M112 with the Cobra in the front. That means no SVT Lightning either.

I drove a chartreuse 5 speed GT . They are kinda doggy in my opinion. I loved the look of the car, but the clutch was too heavy and the shifter wasn't my choice. It would take some getting used to.

The new ones are really nice on the outside, I was rather disappointed with the interior though. Everything felt cheesy and didnt live up to the exterior looks.

And yeah, the new cobra is gonna be awesome, but it's being made by Shelby instead of being stamped as SVT.

The clutch in my friend's GT is way lighter than my car. It's weird getting back in mine for the first minute or two because it takes so much more pressure.

I thought she was talking about the Ford (not mustang) GT at first.

Why all the way from NM to VA? That's the first thing that made me think it was a GT. No local dealers had the (Mustang) GT they wanted?
