My sound card came with a plugin so you could hook up a stereo to it. I think it was my sound card if it wasn't it was my surround sound. I'll look after class for ya.

Get yourself a Soundblaster card. I have the Sounblaster 2 eX Platinum Souncard and it works great for me. You can plug in external devices like CD Players, MP3 players, Keyboards and Guitars (if your a music guru). It's pricey, but then again what your asking for in a soundcard isn't cheap.

      Sounblaster Audigy 2Z

The link in the bottom is the card I got. Going for $199 at Bestbuy:

Pretty much any $25 card will have a stereo input on it. go to radio shack (or other similar store) and buy an adapter with two female RCA inputs (the red and white) and a male minijack end. Hook it up and you're done.

Much cheaper and just as effective as spending $200 on a top of the line audigy.
