Too bad they couldn't just shoot his gun out of his hand. I saw that on one police thing..the sniper was so badass that he blew then gun into a few pieces and didn't even hurt the choad that had it.

ReodDai, I saw the same thing that Speedracer did. There was some special on Fox and they actually had video of some genius in an intersection with a gun. After a standoff, a sniper moved into position and was able to shoot the gun from the guy's hand as he sat in a lawnchair in the intersection... no one, not even the subject, was injured.

Rasputin, I (as the starter of this thread) never claimed that Canada had a gun ban. It's more a refutation of the idea pushed by (among others) Michael Moore that Canada is so safe and peaceful and no one up there ever gets shot or commits a gun crime due to the culture.
