Well hears the story .
I went into work to help finish the new showroom at our new wearhouse.
I was only thear to sand and finish some sheat rock off a 3 foot lader.
next thing I know the shop manager calls me in back to give him and one other guy a hand takeing down a 15'20' firedoor that waighs about 2 tons.
When I got back thear my manager already had the laders setup, they looked fine at a glance .
So he tells me to climb up and take a look to see how it's atatched at the top so he foots the lader and I climb up.
Then the phone rings and he turns around to answer it . Just then the lader kicks out wile I'm on the top rung about 22 feet up.
It turns out the ruber on the feet of the lader was missing. So it slid out so fast that the botom of the lader came 5 feet off the ground as it came down . I landed ontop of the lader witch was on a cement floor and bounced off it on my left side . I have 8 stiches on my forehead 2 broken ribs (wear they conect to my spine),broke the smaller of the two bones in my forearm.and chiped my feamer just above my left kneecap.
The owner of my company had the balls to call me when I was still in the hospital to ask me not to claim comp.He sed thear is alot of nice easy painting to do at the new shop and I can get in some houres at full pay .
I couldent beleave the guy..
so now I think he's geting sewed [img]smile.gif[/img]
on the bright side it will all heal and should finish paying off my car. but man dose it hurt
