I shift anywhere between 2 - 4k depending on how I feel like driving.

Usually around 3k, but if I'm driving a little aggressively then closer to 4. When it's warming up or if I'm just coasting I shift at more like 2.5.

how do you LET your auto transmission shift at what you want it to (2500 rpms like you say)...............i guess there is a certain amount of control you have when it shifts but it all depends on how hard you press the gas pedal and what the computer wants it to be in. its not like a manual where you can stay in one gear until you feel like shifting.................with that being said its usually light throttle 2,500 rpms when i first start it up.

                  I shift at around 2200-2500, but I'll often shift at 2000. If I'm bored, 3,000 or 4,000... I rarely go above 4k...

I'll post up the page if i can find it.

Basically something like up to half throttle itll stay in the gear, any more and itll downshift. but you cant just floor it while moving untill like 35mph or so, it just kinda drops and redlines and you go nowhere.

When I am coasting I let it shift at 2,000. When it's friday night and I am coasting the town. I let if shift at 3,000. When it hits 3,000 in second it's already at 45 the usuall speed limit around hear.

been trying to shift just before 2k... When traffic gets a little worse jsut below 3k.

but easily take it to 5900 at least once every other day.

I try to let it shift around 2500 when I'm just cruising around. When I want a little more power 3k is just fine.
