I checked out school today. Its awesome, so professional. (for once) I talked with admissions and the financial aid departments and got an about exact quote about how much it would cost and all that. So after the tour and checking out the planes and all that he asked me if I wanted a little free simulator time. So im like HELL YES! I climbed into a C172 sim and did some take offs, landings and patterns. Then I surprised them when I asked for an IFR landing. The flight instructor gave me overcast at about 1000 feet, winds 167 at 10 knots, light rain and visibility about 3-5 miles. I started at 2500 and was told to desend to 1700 and intercept the glide path. I nailed the landing. The instructor was very impressed as well as the admissoins guy. Yeah im happy.
