People say about a month, more or less. I know Zaino lasts longer, however, this is at a fraction of a cost and is only one step. I think it does the job nicely for a "street wash". If you're putting your car in a show though, I'd use something like Zaino for that "reflective shine".

Oh by the way, don't think you can do multiple coats. It's synthetic so it's just going to strip off the first layer you put on. A few people were doing this. One coat is all that's necessary.

Zanio isnt the wax to top all waxes like some people on this board think it is... go read a detailing message board and you will see that Zanio is overpriced poop in a bottle compared to other waxes. I, like most others on higher end detailing sites, don't like the plasticy finish Zanio gives off... I prefer a deep wet shine as opposed to the colored plastic look. Unless you want to really take it up a notch and order some high end off shelf waxes... NXT is perfect.

I know Zaino isn;t the best, there is stuff with better shines, but costs near as much and doesn't shine nearly as long.

But with all that stuff you have to order it online.

I mean think of your mods, other then a K&N, do you go to pep boys for exhaust and appearance mods? No because you woudl have a $15 thrush muffler and a neon shift handle with gold door trim and a type R badge.

When you buy higher end appearance and engine mods is the first place you look Pep Boys, Autozone, Advanced Autoparts? No you generally look at speed shops and places online.(carriers of zaino and other high end waxes) Why should you consider car polish any different?

I do fully agree, if I used a typical off the shelf wax it would likely be NXT.

BTW hawgs, haven't seen you post much about high end detailing stuff. What woudl you reccomend?

MustangEater - your car, although very clean, exemplifies something I don't like about zaino, and that is a "sterile" shine. I think that a different set of products would produce a deeper, wetter shine, and that is what I prefer. On black or NBM, the "plasticy" look can get even worse. There are TONS of "better" products out there. Klasse, Blackfire, Pinnacle, Menzerna FMJ just to name a few. Of course, this all depends on your criteria of what "better" is, but many products enjoy the durability of Zaino, and many produce a deeper, wetter shine ("better" in my eyes, but maybe not in others' eyes)
