that looks like he slammed it from 2nd back up into 1st to me.... You're not all of a sudden gonna go sideways from just bangin gears...especially in a new gt which after the loan to get the thing has probably no work done yet. He was floating the rear end all the way down the track. He should have gotten out of it well before the spin out. but kinda of amazed he could get the rear like that down the track, on a seemingly stock looking car.
