speed limiters in the v6 f-bodies... funny don't have a speed limiter anymore and no real desire to hit it. High speeds not as exciting, only did it in the vette because I had a chick friend that one day while watching nascar heard that they hit 180 mph and she didn't really know any car could hit 180 mph, even being a race car.
So I educated her with the vette and several race carss... full drag racers and such.

So what is the speed limiter for my car? I got it recently so I haven't really tried. I have been in a car at almost 150 but I wasnt driving. Before I got this car I was driving my dads jeep liberty and that thing was scary as hell at 100mph it seemed like it would roll over any second.
145 in the stang. I didn't even realize I was going that fast, so I let off.

That's impressive just because you must have avoided a ton of traffic some how.... </font>[/QUOTE]Yeah, he must have one of those cars that can fly above beltway traffic or something. I've seen them around.

154 (what ever speed limiter is) in both my mom's Z28's. Once with the T tops off. LOL
I took my car up to 130-something. My speedo woulndt go past about 4 ticks past 125 but my tach kept going. I'm guessing i had it around 132 or so and was still climbing but I let out of it.
