ok I made a road trip to denver this weekend. Well blew my car out on a back road and hit a fuel cutoff about 142mph which is exactly 4500 rpm. Well I asked the dealer about this(didn't tell him the speed) and hes like o ya those cars govern @ 118 mph. I was like o the speedo needle was completely buried. So he goes and asks his service manager. I'm trying to keep a straight face. Well he comes back and tells me well its a notification to let you know you will be losing your license if any cop radars you at that speed. I was like o lol [img]graemlins/slap.gif[/img]

i passed a cop on a highway in the middle of no where with no other cars on it going 115 and he didnt even bother to pull out. He was just chilling in the emergency lane...

and yes it was down hill :D I hit it before with my old gears on a flat road and that time I just thought it was my clutch letting go but this time I was sure it was for a different reason. It got there alot faster down hill though.
