Too bad the author wasn't responsibleenough to cite the source. I'd guess that s/he didn't because the claim is completely unfounded. The only reason it works is because the diagraphs in each word are just juxtaposed. If they're broken apart and truly randomized, the text becomes almost unreadable:

Those are words taken from the text with seperated diagraphs. Without contextual information, you can't "decode" them on the fly.

even if the context is, for the most part, how the mind can figure out the words on the fly it is still rather amazing.
