Tip: Be careful with Christmas lights

We were putting up decorations at my work today and I go to check the lights on a wreath that has lights strung on it.

It had a real short cord so I'm standing right by the wall supporting myself against the wall with one hand and kind of have the wreath pressed against the same arm, and then I plug it in with the other hand.

Damn thing shocked the hell out of me! :eek:

Must've had a wire frayed on it or something. Hard to tell with the wires the same color as the wreath.

Anyway, got pretty pissed and used a broom to knock the cord back out of the wall, and threw it across the room, cussing and telling everybody to throw it away! :mad:

Moral is, get somebody else to do the lights for you!

next you need to hand rotate an HEI distributer w/coil in cap to verify the insulation capability of the plug wires and set timing. ;)

Or you can try to make sure your coil wire is all the way on your mallory super mega blaster bazooka coil only to discover you have a large crack in your plug wire boot.

Next time, don't hang them while plugged in. That way you won't get shocked. You will still discover the wire when the house catches fire but you have insurance for that, right? :D

Haha. Ugh, I hate being shocked. Its a horrible feeling, and I must have shocked myself a hundred times just from being a tard and just being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
