around 6 tonight i was driving down leesville road and i was 1/4 mile away from a red light so i just coast to the light, and i assumed there it would have turned green by the time i was there, but by the time i get closer to the light it was still red and i guess i wasnt paying close enough attention (also the traffic pattern of the light changed) and i ran straight into a car turning left onto leesville. it was a 2006 lexus SUV.
im ok phsycially, just really shook up. i have a little whiplash and my hand is swollen but thats all. the other driver of the car was alright as well, and we were the only two involved in the accident.
the damages: my hood is completely crumpled, both airbags deployed and probably saved me, the hood was smashed, headlights, clear corners, billet grille, radiator support, both right and left front fenders, a/c and heat unit,and everything smashed. the wheel well on the passenger side got crumpled so much that the tire is pinched. the passenger side door wont even open, the battery was upside down and the intake was ripped in half.
for those of you that dont know, i just spent 2300 on a supercharger thats in the mail. im pretty sure its totalled but im having some people look at it tomorrow. i might be able to check some junk yards for the front end of a car and what not.. but who knows.. pictures will be up sometime tomorrow. i hope youre day is going better than mine.
