ive decided against the trans am. too much work.

i really just want to fix mine up. i just have to find a good place to do it and call around for estimates today. just sucks cuz i can only get estimates if the car is at the shop..and the car isnt driveable. wish i had a tow car handy! lol.. ill keep you guys updated!

just get the frame work done and go from there. And get an SS hood while you're at it.

I bet you can find a bunch of cheap fenders and bumpers.

                  just in case...
1998+ is the years you want for the v8 cars. those are ls1 motors. before that they were Lt1 motors. not at all the same.

Not as good, but nothing wrong with an LT1...

I think it would cost as much, if not more, to fix it properly than it would to buy another V6. Try to get estimates, but I'd guess upwards of $6k in repairs.

Or... maybe not... I thought there was more body damage. Still, if there's frame damage, and the underhood bits, it could add up.

                      • Well, I was thinking there was more damage, but yeah, that stuff gets expensive with labor...

                          • Not too bad... still a fair bit cheaper than another car with decent miles... you could get a fair bit of that selling your supercharger and the other bits, but then again, if you're repairing it, I guess you wouldn't be selling them?

                            • NOOO that t/a you posted from cars.com is a picture of nathan's old car. that was the car he had and sold. he was once in the car club. i recognize it for one because of the way it looks but mainly because of the chipped side skirt. that is weird. i hate to see that car got messed up too. :(

you can see the chipped side skirt here in this pic of me and nathan..
