I really like Austin too... I will have a lake house there some day. Its a beautiful city.

I have a lake house in lago vista. Its across a cove from Shades (little bar/resturant on travis), if you know where that is.

yup... know exactly where that is, my boss has a house near there too.

i'd move to lubbock LONG before amarillo... just my .02... But Austin is the best. Houston is too big, Dallas just doesn't seem like texas. San Antonio is another good one.

Bah...Houston's got everything you could want in a city...and if you don't find it in Houston you can find it in one of the infinite amount of smaller cities that are basically considered Houston (such as the one I live in)

As I'm sure you saw from DVs pics, there is a lot of nothing out there. Went there twice this summer and glad I'm not there anymore. I guess if you live in the town it isn't so depressing, just keep away from where you can see the massive flat expanse.

I love east central oklahoma...I couldn't live without trees trees trees.
