Just go to File --> Line-in sampling
While your watching a DVD and the audio/song you want is about to play, hit record, when its done, hit stop. It will save it as a WAV file. Or you can have it rip the audio into an MP3 file (just download LAMEenc DLL and put it in your audiograbber folder, select it in settings).
This goes for all video files. I use it all the timehttp://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/437104 96 Firebird M5

That really isn't "ripping" by definition.
Ripping to me, is faster than 1x. Or else it's just copying.
If you want to extract the aduio from a DVD you have to rip the VOB files...

He asked for a way to save audio from video. I gave him a good simple way to do it that will work on any video format. Sound Recorder has a 60 second limit, theres a way to manually extend the limit each time but Audiograbber does it all for u. Most people dont want to rip the whole audio stream of a movie they just want certain songs or parts of a movie.
I know VirtualDub could rip DVD audio faster but you'd need to convert the VOB to AVI first. Either help the guy out with suggestions or stop trolling http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/437104 96 Firebird M5
