Were the British Soldiers Justified?

If you haven't heard bout it yet- I think they were justified, especially since the [Mod Edit] insergents [/Mod Edit] threw a home made hand grenade into the compound, to do something but not so far as continually beat them. Capture them yes, maybe a few blows to show em whats what, but not that far. try not to make this about politics so this doesnt get locked. simply were the soldiers justified?

yeah i agree it was pretty brutal, u need only retaliate so much against the "unarmed" Iraqi teens [img]smile.gif[/img] , just try to find out who threw the nade.

but if your tough enough to throw rocks and pick a fight with a soldier then you better be able to take some punishment, I also saw another vid of i think it was american soldiers caravaning out there and some kids were throwing rocks at the trucks, but they weren't aloud to retaliate against children. though they were throwing some big rocks, one of which cracked a window

Forget "justified". It was stupid. It hurt our cause.

Having deranged terrorists against you is bad. If those terrorists have the support of otherwise law abiding citizens it's worse.

True stories about torture, unnecessary force, etc. hurts our cause. We can't appease terrorists but a good tactic is to attack their support from otherwise law abiding Muslims by not doing dumb stuff like this. Or publishing cartoons that disrespect their religion. Sure, it's free speech, but it's still dumb.

Not Justified, when the Soldiers brought them behind the walls, there was no one restraining them. They should have just handcuffed them, or line them up against the wall and held them there and waited for the police.

This film does hurt our cause, but then again, what cause is there??? WMD in Iraq??? Osama???,

Anyways, this will just make the rest of the world hate us and Britain more.
