wtf? got a ticket for 9 over? I couldn't say this for most cops but that guy is an ***. He must be new and trying to make a name for himself. Happens here when a new guy comes in.

My stepdad is a preacher and my mom married him. But she told me that if a cop gave her a BS ticket like that she would wring his neck and hope he burns in hell

i tried hiding my 1st ticket but that didn't happen. Now I learned that it is better to tell my dad cause he has political connections up the *** and I have gottin out of all my tickets so far

Do your parents not have to go with you to court?

If you're under 18 I thought parents had to escort

Hmm, most officers don't even waste their time with 9 over. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

Yes it is always good to vent legibly

I was scrolling down waiting for somebody to make the "cop is an a**hole" remark and sure enough somebody did...

9 over isn't that bad, but 9 over when the speed limit is 35 is kind of bad.
That's like 18mph over on the highway (at 70mph) ... for the low speed limit, 9 over is worthy of a ticket I think.

Sorry there pal... hopefully you can go to traffic school and keep it off your insurance?

Ok...9 over is BS, unless you were in a residential area, and then what was the cop doing sitting there gunning people in a residential area. Obviously he was out to get people. 88 in a 70 is just as bad as 52 in a 70. 18 under or 18 over is just as dangerous, yet people only get pulled over for going over. Interesting.
