    Update on Computer cooling

    Just to let all of you helpfull people know, I have just finished installing into my computer two slot fans for heat extraction Slot Fan, and one dual-fan HD cooler Dual-Fan Unit. My hard disk, before installation, had been running at 107*F for quite a while, but now that I have installed all three, my hard disk is running at 87*F. A 20 degree drop! Overall, I am very happy. Although I don't have programs to test the temperatures of the rest of my hardware, I am sure that they have experienced a drop at well. Thanks for all that helped me out, and just so you know, www.3DCool.com was great to work with. :cool:

    P.S. The computer is the tiniest bit louder than it was before, but if I am not thinking about how I got new fans, I don't notice it at all. ~Happy Dance~

    Glad your comp is running cooler!

    You might want to check out a program called SpeedFan, it will monitor your temps for you [img]smile.gif[/img]
