im a religous niners fan. first off mike.. we dont need cedrick benson. barlow would be fine if he could get some blocks. offensive lineman? the only ones we need are the ones that are on the IR. Tim Rattay is still young and he will be a very good Qb.(growing pains are a mother-f'er) we have a young recieving core that will be good in time.(next year prob.) if the team keeps julian peterson and he stays healthy that helps out alot.(he is the true leader of the D) our secondary will be just fine as long as Mike Rumph and Ahmmed Plummer stay healthy. Shawntea spencer got alot of experience this year.
heres what needs to change about the 49ers next year. Dennis erickson has to go. Terry Donahue needs to go to. Erickson is a great COLLEGE coach. i cant stress that enough. he has never had a winning record as a nfl coach.(best he ever did was 8-8 with seattle.) Donahue has been in charge of the draft since 99. in that time hes drafted one probowl player(J. Peterson) so who takes the place of Erickson? if seattle loses early in the playoffs... Mike holmgren would fit nice.. he molded Farve and Hasselback why not Rattay. Gm.. thats up to owner John York. even though i think bill walsh would fit nicely. the niners just need a coach and time for all these young players to find their groove. dont lose faith in them they will be back. :D [img]graemlins/rock.gif[/img]
my prediction for the #1pick... theyll trade down for more picks and draft either another wr or DL.
