As much fun as the 6 has been I'm looking to buy a Z28 or SS within the next week or two. I've narrowed it down to two choices
1. 2002 Z28 8,XXX Miles I went and checked that car out and it was mint. 2. SOM Convertible SS 24,000 miles Going to look at the car later this week. Price is actually $19,900. The 16,9 was a misprint.

I'm pretty much leaning towards that SS
Which car do you like more?
Also pretty much every mod will be coming off my car with the exception of the exhaust. I don't plan on spraying the ls1(right away atleast ). The zex kit is a great kit. I've had it on for about 6 months and had zero problems. If your interested in anything let me know and we'll work out a deal.

Z is an auto, what's the SS? Get the manual, they're more fun.

Well the SS is worth (via kelly blue book retail) 25.5K and they are selling it for 19.9K I would take a very hard look at this car and I would get a vehical history on it. This looks to be off a car lot if it is I would be careful, car lots do not just sell cars below retail cause they want to.... The other looks about right.

Remember, verts are heavier, so if you're turning it into a racecar, you're gonna be a hundred pounds over weight unless you start yanking out bumper supports, removing carpet, doing lightweight seats, etc.

Both look like good choices. I'd bring em both to get checked out before you go through with it. There are some people that buy the cars to trash then throw em up on sale. It took a good few months to find mine.

I'm not looking for a "racecar", just looking for some more power and looks. I know the Z is clean. I have a friend that works at the dealership and the car was actually the dealerships master mechanic's car. So I can go in and actually talk to the previous owner. If the SS is clean I'd definitely take it. SOM
